How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm planning to complete my house project with this my second transfer. I just bought zinc and cement to finish with my house. I even spent little amount on planks and stick. I bought some provision for the house. The last little one that left with me now, I'm planning to start a small business.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in dire need of money to build my house and also pay my children tuition. Therefore, when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly early that morning while I was still at home, I became so excited. I ran outside and joined the rest of my neighbours who had received transfers also. We played and danced all night as we celebrated this life- changing moment. I feel so pleased having received such amount from GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I didn't have enough money to build my house and send my children to school. Nonetheless, with GD transfer, my 3 children have been registered in school. Moreover, I bought building materials for the construction of my new house. The fact that I am able to keep my children in school and also begin my house project is the biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly.

My dream of building a house and paying my children school fees in time has become a huge burden due to low income. However, I used huge portion of my transfer received from GiveDirectly to register my three(3) children in school. Furthermore, my balance transfer was used to purchase building materials (2 bundles of zinc and 1 carton of nails) to roof my house. I am delighted to be part of this project which has transformed my life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Being a farmer who planted cassava to fix Garie (cassava product) to sell but due to the poor road network, most of my goods get spoil due to difficulty seeing buyer(s) as a result my children are thrown out of school due to lack of money so when I received money transfer from Give Directly, I will pay all of my children school fees and the remaining money will be used to buy zinc to improve my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Seeing all of my children in good health always bring happiness to me because we're lacking health services here.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges am fixing is getting my things to the market to sell because there's no good road connectivity as a result all of my goods get rotten and fewer costumers that are available complain of buying them.
