How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! I had no new goals. My goal has been to build a new house for my children in Monrovia. Giving our children quality education has been a challenge in our village since there are no schools around here. We had to move them to the city so that they can be able to go to school. We have been hoping to build a decent house but have not been able to do so due to the lack of money. I was so excited when I got enrolled in the GiveDirectly cash program. Our lives have improved for the best. That is so overwhelming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has not done anything wrongly. I am so grateful that I got enrolled in this amazing cash program. God has been so good to us and we are grateful for this opportunity. Our lives will never be the same again. I am so thankful to GiveDirectly for this what they have done for us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was overjoyed when I started receiving payments. I used some of my last transfer to buy some building materials. I also bought more goods for my business. I used a little amount to buy some food items for our home.
