Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in the garden and I heard a message on my phone and it was GD money. I felt so happy for that and immediately left the hoe. I ran to my husband to confirm if it was true. The next day we went to withdraw the money
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There is a difference. My children can now take milk because I bought a cow which was still producing the milk and I feel safe because anytime I can sell and pay off any bills
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Bought a cow

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
We are planning on buying land in bunamubi Village found in bududa District which goes for about $1388 an acre. The area is relatively flat, has not been affected by landslides and thus our family will be safer there. Also we are planning on buying more livestock especially a cow which goes for about $277since my husband knows how to keep and maintain animals. Also the remaining money we also planning to reinvest it and purchase coffee as we buy it cheaply and can dry it then sell it off more expensively.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When we got the greatest harvest and ripening of our coffee which we are still benefiting from up-to-date. We are able to buy food after selling our coffee and paying part of our children's school fees
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Water passing outside our home and making such a big marking scares us every time especially when it rains heavily. Our mature bull worth $ 833 was poisoned at the place it feeds from and died. This brought us sadness and worry as we though they may poison the remaining animals.
