How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Through this support I was able to settle the debt that was got for my treatment and operation. I am now a happy mother of twin . This transfer also facillated the required treatment and buying food until I recovered fully. I didn't have hope of getting money, honestly my relatives couldn't have borrowed UGX 1,050,000 if I wasn't excepting any money from GiveDirectly because there was no way of paying it back. They would have taken me to the nearest health center where I could have lost my life or the twin I was expecting. Even buying soft food like rice and irish was expective.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to send me money that facilitated my medical bills including operation and buying food. To me GiveDirectly only did well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay off a debt at UGX 1,050,000 that was got for my treatment and operation. UGX 582,000 that was left I continued with treatment and paying food till I completely recovered.
