How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has tremendously improved in that, I live a much happy life because I bought livestock and an acre of land. With this livestock, I'm optimistic that my children's tuition will be paid in the future and I can now cultivate more food for my family as opposed to the past when I cultivated on only one acre of land. Before, I couldn't afford all these assets due to the lack of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly in my opinion has done well by enabling me buy assets through the unconditional cash transfer. On the other hand, It has done nothing bad to me.

I used my second transfer to buy livestock i.e an ox, a cow and a heifer.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because I have acquired an acre of land. I plan to cultivate ( maize and sweet potatoes). I'm now sure of food security in my home. In the past, I had a challenge of food shortage because I had a small piece of land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt very happy and ululated because I was sure of acquiring an acre of land for Agriculture.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I shall use it to cater for my children education. I will pay school fees for children studying in Glory primary school Aloet.

The happiest part of the day is afternoon, I chatt with my neighbours while fetching water at the near by tap.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face currently is lack of enough money for purchasing land to carry out farming practices.
