How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, there are some new plans that has been added to the previous planned. I told GiveDirectly that I wanted to build my own house with the transfer and I'm working towards that. But now I have decided to buy some clothes my children along with some funitures for my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done great things for me and my family. I will not stop praising God for GiveDirectly. Because the house I'm currently residing in is not garantee. Through GiveDirectly, I'm going to have a new house for myself before the end of this year by the special grace of God.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"If we are successful to get this money, our plan is to build a better house. We have planned to build a new house because as the house we live in is old, and it's not grantee, and decent. During the raining season we have no peace because the roof is badly leaking and the wall falls everytime. For the past 3 years we have rebuilt parts of this house over 6 times. Whenever it's midnight and it rain we will remain standing till morning. When it rains heavily during day time we either sleep in neighbors house. This house was built on an old dump site. We're afraid that one day this house fall on us. We're worried everytime it raining. It has always been our plans to have a better house of own where we will have no embarrassment and shame everytime it rains. With a new house we will not pay people everytime to dup, we will not sleep in water each time it rains or embarrass our neighbors for accommodation. When we able to build a new and solid house, we will be free from embarrassment and shame, and we will have peace. Building a new house for ourselves is a plan that had long been made by us just that we have not had money. So with this money, we definitely planed to build our own house so as to make us feel as a better family, and stop being mocked at.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happy time in the last six months was some two months ago when I received small money from my sister from Monrovia. This brought happiness to us because we can't remember the last time my family thought about me in the past one year. For the past 1 year my sister have stopped hearing from my sister. The a month before I received the money, I tried calling her but didn't reach her. My spouse was sick and he couldn't take up contract. Things were very tough for us, and we had nowhere to turn. We tried to borrowed money but it didn't materialize. There was no where to turn when a relative brought the money saying it was from my sister. We felt so happy because I was not expecting money from anywhere, and she surprised me, and we were really in need of money that day. We were able to handled our most urgent needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges we are face with is the lack of money to get food for the family, and to have a better house of our own. My family and I are living on farming for the past several years, we planted rice and vegetables crops as a means of having money for family issues. We usually sold the crops to buy soup kind and used the rice for eating. Unlike this year we couldn't make vegetables farm due to infertile land we farm on this year. The vegetables didn't produce this year, and the birds are eating the little rice that is growing. Because of this we have started buying rice buy cup on a daily basis as well as soup kind. Now we do labor for people, either cut bushes, or burnt charcoal so as to get money for the family upkeep. We hardly get money to enough food for the family to eat to satisfaction because we are not paid good money for our labour. Having a good house is another challenge facing us. During raining season we have no peace because the roof of our house is badly leaking and the wall falls everytime. For 3 years now we continue to rebuilt parts of this house from the fall of heavy rain, get sleepless nights, and sleep to relatives and neighbors house. This house was built on an old dump site. We're afraid that one day this house falls on us. We're worried everytime it rains. It's embarrassing and shameful experiencing such a situation everytime. With money we will not have such an embarrassing situation.
