What did you spend your third transfer on?
I did spend my transfer to settle school fees for my son and daughter in high school, I paid 20,000 KES. The remaining amount I spent on my wheat flour business. What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on starting a groceries kiosk business which is currently my main source of income. I then bought building materials and built a new and modern house and moved from my other house which was very old and in bad shape. I then spent the remainder of the transfer to stock up on food stuffs for my family's feeding considering the current drought situation.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have a business I have to wake up to on a daily basis and which is now my family's source of income.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on clothes for my family (4,000 KES) since they were almost going naked, bought a bag and a half of dry maize grain for food (4,500 KES ) since my family was starving, and spent the rest on assorted food items (1,500 KES).
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt so humbled and overwhelmed that I broke down as it happens that I had actually borrowed flour and made light porridge for our evening meal because we were too broke to afford enough flour for stiff porridge (which is the staple food and more filling).The money was very timely, and my first expense the following day was to go for food.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to use part of the transfer to pay school fees for our two children in secondary school, and also pay school levies for the three in primary. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to start a small business of selling grains. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to enrol our daughter for a hairdressing course.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Having bought two sheep, with savings from our farming, which we have used to pay school fees for our children, is the achievement we are proudest of.

The biggest hardship we have faced is, paying school fees for our two children in secondary school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoons, when I am preparing lunch for my family, with surety that they would eat.
