How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because I'm sleeping in a beautiful permanent house. Before, I could not continue with the project of building because I had other pressing needs like paying school fees for my 6 children who are in private schools. In addition, I have gained confidence and respect in my community. Before, some people could mock me and I lost confidence.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by helping meet the school fees of my children and completing to build my permanent house. GiveDirectly has empowered people in their families. GiveDirectly has not do anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on purchasing Livestock (bull) worth UGX 1,000,000 and paid school fees for me 6 children worth 500,000. There is a balance of 132,000 which I'm planning to spend on food.
