How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Happiness is my daily routine compared to the days before Give Directly came and enrolled me into the program. The body pains have also stopped because I have peace of mind.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly provided me with financial support which will enable me construct a house. I my old age, I would die without having constructed or slept in a permanent house but thanks to GD. Give Directly is an honest, efficient and transparent organization that fulfills its promises to their beneficiaries. The way I was promised by the field staff is the very way I received my transfers. Everything went well according to me.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfers as follows, Construction materials ugx 550000. Food ugx 50000. Transport ugx 13000. Saved ugx 1020000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now own household items which I never had and this has made life simple for me and this could not be possible without GD support because there is no one to help me.

Receiving this money means purchasing agricultural land. This is because I only own a potbof land which isn't enough .

The happiest part of my day is when I am able to meet the basic needs at the end of the day.

My biggest hardship is lack of agricultural land and poor housing condition.
