What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to construct a permanent house for myself.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving out money to the poor and there is nothing bad that Gd has done.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to construct a spacious permanent house for my family in my own land. In the past, we never owned land and the house we use to stay in couldn't accomodate all of us.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 550,000UGX of my first transfer for clearing the debt that I was left with, on the plot of land that we were buying, I also purchased a bull at 450,000UGX, small solar system at 100,000UGX, clothes for the children, beddings and kitchen utensils.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have been in position to have sole ownership of the plot of land that am currently staying in with my family. I have also owned a bull and the solar system has relieved me from buying paraffin.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face in my family is lack of food. My family servives on buying food stuffs which is so costly.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My family's happiness after getting what to eat relieves my mind and this is normally during afternoon.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
This transfers will enable me complete to pay my plot where i am staying and buy cows. My family is currently staying in unpaid plot of land and the owner is so much demanding the balance of 550000.
