Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Previously, life was not that simple. I had limited access to land for farming. However, when I received the cash transfer, I thought it wise to hire more land for farming so as to boost my food supply. In addition to this, I restocked my salon business thus there is a rise in client turnover.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I read the message at 05:00am and I was overwhelmed with joy. This was an amazing lifetime opportunity for me.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent part of the cash transfer to hire farm lands worth UGX 600000 and UGX 200000 was spent restocking the salon. I bought 7 bags of cement worth UGX 182000 and sand worth UGX 80000. I spent UGX 170000 to buy a set of tables and a mattress worth UGX 100000. I spent UGX 15000 on transport. The balance will be spent to start up a produce business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will restock my business to make it attractive to the customers. That will improve on my daily income hence its ability to sustain my household. Currently, I lack some machines that would help boost my business because I am a saloonist. I will also have timely payment of school fees for my child in order for him to attain better grades due to fill attendance.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after work. I am happy around this time because it's The time when I balance off the income for the day and what I spent to bring in the stock.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face on my life is lack of enough Iand for crop cultivation. We are many in our family and my father handed my share of an acre of farm land. I have built on the same piece of land and what is left is not enough to produce food for the household as well as sale. This situation forced me to start up a saloon at the nearby center but lacks most of the equipments which woul put it to the desired standard.
