How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I had not received the transfer in so many ways. My life has changed a lot with the transfers sent to me and my family. It would have taken me a long time to build a house , but I am now building my house because of the transfers. Having people rent my new house will mean that I am receiving extra money every month and this will help me with all my household responsibilities. I have also managed to buy so many things like enough food and paid for other responsibility. This would have not been possible without the help of GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly is doing well in the way they are helping the poor people. In my village many things have changed. People have bought motorbikes for means of transport and others for business . The money has helped in new house house projects in our village this way people don't have to pay rent anymore. The thing I see that GD is not doing well is the number of Transfer's given out because things are very expensive these day and because of this the money is not enough.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used my transfer from GD to build a house. I am building a house in my village because at the moment I and my family are staying in a house of the people I work for. I have decided to build a house in my village so that I can have people rent the house and this way I will have another source of income. When I stop working I will be able to move in my house with my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will change my life. I am a teacher by profession but the money we receive as a salary is not enough to buy all my needs and care for my family. I will use the money to buy household items like furniture.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest when I am chatting with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is getting sick from time to time. I also did not go to work today because I am sick.
