How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goals. My old goal has been to build a new house. Our house is not in a good condition. The roof is tarsh. During the rainy season it leaks. I have not been able to change the tarsh roof due to lack of money. I am so grateful that I got enrolled in this program. My life will never be the same again.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Being enrolled in this program is a dream come true for my family. I am grateful for this opportunity. In my opinion GiveDirectly has done nothing wrongly. It has given us a new and improved lives. I am so excited for this amazing opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was so happy when I received my payment.I used some of my money to buy zinc and some other building materials. I also bought bag of rice and some food items. I used rest of my transfer to pay the contractors that will do the project.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal remains because it has not yet been achieved. I'm working on completing my house project which is still in progress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does everything well, I don't know of anything that they don't do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My recent transfer will be spent on my house project, I will use it to buy additional zinc, nail and etc. Since I'm not well in health, a portion of the money will be spent on paying people to cut sticks, and putting the house on ground as well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No. My previous plans have been building my own house and sending my seven children to school. My children have not been opportune to go to school because of poverty.I have been living in my cousin's house with my wife and children which is embarrassing. I was also unable to achieve my goals due to financial difficulties. I have been farming all through my life to sustain my family. Amazingly,GiveDirectly has come to make great changes in my life positively.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my sincere opinion GiveDirectly have done nothing wrong. They are the best NGO ever in history. My go to GiveDirectly because even our parents never had such opportunity. By us receiving this unconditional cash that enable us to change our standards of living is the best ever. We will always be grateful to GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Building my house and sending my children to school has been my worries.I will use portion of my transfer to buy two bundles of zinc and zinc nails which cost twenty eight thousands Liberian Dollars. I will also register my children in school buy their school materials. I can't let this academic school year to pass without my children attending.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very excited when I saw the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I couldn't afford to pay my kids school fees, I was getting assistance from my sister. Now that I started to receive the transfer I can pay their school fees myself. I'm grateful for the transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful on this program I want to build a house, because the house I am living in belong to my little brother . I am bot paying rent, but occupying a single room which is not enough for my family and myself. It because of this reason that my wife and myself sent our children to my biggest sister. The next plan I have for the money is to pay my children school fees, because I believe, education is key to success.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The good news from Givedirectly makes me happy. With the help of Givedirectly, if I am able to pay my children school fees and then build a good house with zinc for my family to live in,I will be the most happiest man. This NGO name Givedirectly ,will be remembered forever by my family and myself because of their good work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am sick and been down for the past four years. I could not afford money to go to hospital, my leg is still hurting withe big sore on it. Now I can not make farm because of this condition that I am going through. My major now is , there is no money to provide school fees for my children. I am very worried became school is about to open and I dont know where to start from.
