How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed so much that I thank God for everything. I build my house using mud and I was told to plaster it using cement before 10 years otherwise it would have fall down/ or damaged. A day couldn't pass without me thinking on were I get the money to buy 20bags of cement. I tried working as a house helper but all I could manage was to buy food. GD has given me an opportunity to achieve the requirement of me to plaster my house, and I have done it. I am really greatful
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I admire the process that GD field officer do by verifying the house if it is an active household or not. That elemented alot of people who were invited by the chief to receive money on his behalf. I also like the the process of collecting all names during Baraza. That enable alot of villages to be enrolled.
