What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money has given us a head start to the ambitions of starting a business I had. I have been under divorce for more that two years now and since the time my husband left. Things have been tough for me especially taking care of the children and my other relative whose marriage ended too. Apart from the plans of opening up a grocery, I will also buy extra beddings for my family. We shall also add some fertilizer for the next growing season and extra food too. I am very happy to be included in this program as I used to struggle to find a better opportunity to earn some income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is usually my teaching time at the school i teach. I am someone who enjoys being around kids.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The only way to earn some money for me was from contributions of fellow community members. This was so as I volunteer to teach their kids in the local kindergarten school. Hence, the main challenge for me was finding a source of income to achieve my dreams of owning a business.
