How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed because through these cash transfers, we were able to start a butcher business. On a good day, it gives me a profit of UGX 70000. I'm now in position to meet the needs of my family on time. For instance treament and paying school fees. Previously, we had no source of income and I was forced to depend on loans and friends for survival.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by enabling me start a family business for meeting my family needs like food, school fees and treatment. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought livestock ( a bull) for my butcher business and there is a balance which I'm planning to spend on restocking Livestock.

The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness to see that I now sleep with a bigger matresss.

The moment I received my money, I was happy that this money had actually reached me and free to use as I wish.

My first transfer was spent to buy household items like mattress, bedsheets, curtains, utensils, paid a debt, paid school fees, and bought a bull.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life Is; when I feel sick and there was no money for treatment, I was forced to even work while sick.
