How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to start a new business. This will help me sustained my family and help meet our needs when Givedirectly is no longer around.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does well by providing direct cash support to almost eveyone in my Villiage. The organization does well by helping us fairly without pick and choose. I was on the farm when my house came down so I was staying at my family house, but with Givedirectly transfer, things are ok.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I pay my children tuition , bought four (4) bundle of zinc, sow wood and lastly bought food with the balance money. Prior to receiving this money, life was really difficult because we depend on farming for survival, but the animals ate and damaged our farm that my family and I could barely get food to eat neither to pay tuition. I thank God for Givedirectly because the money was sent when I needed money the most.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was plastering my house on a Thursday when I asked my son to check my phone to find out if his brother has sent my credit why checking the phone, he saw the transfer in my inbox and then I heard him telling me that GiveDirectly has sent the transfer. At that moment, I felt very happy because I had no money to pay my children fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before GiveDirectly could start sending my transfer, I have been doing hard work to survive. I have to burn charcoal and make farms or credit from my friends to sustain my family but since I started receiving my transfer, I was able to pay my debts and the hard work has been reduced.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" My house broke down due to heavy rain fall as a result, we had to move in the external kitchen. Since then my my entire family has been in here. We have tried saving money, but everytime time the money generated will not be sufficient to start the project. If If I am eligible to receive this cash grant, I will construct a dwelling place for my family."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" The many problems I am going through have overshadowed my sense of happiness. Day after day I'm in tears about the condition of my family. I can't remember ever being happy in the last six months."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" My husband and I have always tried constructing a dwelling place for our family, but the merger resources generated from the charcoal burning and the little farm we make can't permit us realize our dream. Secondly, most of my kids are girls and are not currently in school. I'm really worry about their future. If nothing is done to send them to school, they might just be like me."
