In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well to give me money and letting me decide on how to spend it. GiveDirectly has not done bad in anyway.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase a cow, clothes and food. I have not yet spent UGX 500,000 but my plan is to spend it later on farming and to buy food.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
GiveDirectly has made it possible for me to own cows, descent clothings, a mattress and beddings. Prior to receiving this transfer, I had no hope to own cows because I didn't have enough money at hand.

I spent UGX850,000 to purchase a cow. I spent UGX350,000 to buy a mattress,bed sheets,a metallic case.
I am planning to spend UGX500,000 on constructing a house.

When my uncle told me that I had received money. I became very happy and could not believe my luck.
I felt overjoyed because in my condition I do not have any hope of even getting money or getting married.
This money will help me start a new life and take care of myself.

I am very happy because I was given this miraculous opportunity. I bought a cow and other household items that I never had before. I sleep and dress decently because I have money to buy them.
