Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when Give Directly sent my transfer but I didn't know until I heard my neighbours shouting and jubilating. However, upon hearing the noise from my neighbourhood, I was encouraged to check my inbox too. As soon as I checked the message it was the transfer. At that moment, I felt very happy because I have been sick and I needed money to treat myself.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
At first, I have been surviving on farming but due to my health condition now I have to avoid the farmwork. And I have struggled to go for an operation or treatment but I could not afford the money.
