Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to spend part of my savings which I have been making from the business and monthly transfer to buy a dairy cow. I had sold one which I had bought initially to enable me to start up a business. Since the business is booming and earning me a good profit I would now easily buy a cow with less struggle.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the recent past, I ventured into cereal business. I had sold a cow which I had bought with the money from Give Directly so has to have the capital for starting up the business. I then put together with the savings which I had made from the transfers and bought some few sacks of maize for resale. Due to the maize shortage in our locality, I would travel some distance to look for the commodity and resell it at a nearby market at a fair price. I am happy that in a week I usually get a profit of USD 100. This is the money which I wouldn't imagine I would make in such a short period. Now I am so different on how I use to be before I started this business which is a result of GiveDirectly support.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would like to make some savings with the aim of buying materials for building a better house. I thought of this so that I would have a better structure and that I will have time to focus on other investments.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from Give Directly is that I am now a happy parent. This is because I have been able to provide for my family needs on time without having to go around the village looking for some casual work to do to meet my family demands.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will no longer be the same again in the next six months since I will have bought a dairy cow and I will have planted enough feeds for my livestock. When it reproduces, I will have enough milk to supply to people and earn an income through it. In addition to this, I will have started to save money to use in building a new house for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been had I never received the transfer since I am now a proud owner of a heifer. Even though I had one, I decided to buy another so as to expand my dairy project. When they produce milk, I will sell some to raise an income to help me meet my family needs well and in time.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My additional goal for my life is to save some money which I will later use to buy another dairy cow. This is because I have a passion for dairy farming. In addition to this, I am planning to increase the size of land where I will cultivate my livestock feeds as I want to do zero grazing.
