How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I have got an acre of land that I am intending to plough when the rainy season begins. This acre is also going to increase my crop production. The milk from my cow is going generate income and boost the immunity of my children. Previously, my crop production was very low because I didn't have a garden to cultivate, I used to cultivate around my compound which resulted to famine.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well to give me unconditional cash that has enabled me get an acre of land and a cow. On my side, GiveDirectly has not done anything bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I lent UGX 1,000,000 of my second transfer in exchange of an acre of land that is acting as security. I also bought a cow at UGX 500,000 and G nut seeds at UGX 70,000. I have not yet spent UGX 62,000 but I am planning to send it for ploughing.
