Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I plan to use my transfers on savings. It is my dream to buy a cow as it is the cheapest investment I know of. I know with the savings and the little income from the business, I will be able to buy the cow and fulfil my goal.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I now have a salon business. Before the transfers, I did not have any form of income. I used to rely on my parents to provide for all my needs. I had not gone to college and could not get a well-paying job with secondary education. As I got my monthly transfers, I started savings on a monthly basis and since then I used the savings to start a small hairdressing business in my village. I never knew I could own a business at this stage of my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in the next six months in that I will have registered for a teaching course in the nearby teaching college. I have always wanted to be a teacher but due to limited finances in my family, I was not able to. This is why I decided to save part of my transfers and used the savings to start the hairdressing business. I know the business will help me raise money through the profits for paying my college fees long after the transfers are over. I thank GD for the transfers because I am now going to achieve my goal which I had lost hope in.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different in that I have been able to buy a goat, with the goat, I believe I will earn an extra income . To replace the goats which shall have reproduced and increased in number with a dairy cow. With this dairy cow, I will have enough supply of milk hence I won't buy milk from other people in the village as I do right now. At the same time, my family members will have enough to drink hence their nutritional status shall also have improved since milk has some nutritional values.

Since I finished form four getting my certificate from school was a dream to me because my mother whom I depend on could not have managed to pay the huge fee balance I had in school and this hindered me from joining college and also applying for bursaries. The moment I started receiving this transfer I cleared the fee balance first to enable me to get my certificate back. I thank Give Directly because I had lost hope in life because without that certificate I could not prosper in life. I joined hairdressing school and I have hope very soon I am finishing my classes, and I would now employ myself and also my fellow colleagues.
