How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I did not receive this money I would have been very sad for a long time because I would have been comparing my house with other people.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did a very good job in our village. A lot of families have been assited. Most families are independent and they are able to buy food and fix their homes and now they live in very nice houses.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy iron sheets, timber, firewood. I also saved some of the money so that I can buy brick to build a house. I also bought clothes for my children and kitchen utensils.

My daily life has improved since i received this transfer. Iam now able to eat enough food in my household. The whole family can afford a smile because we are no longer desperate for food.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i got my transfer from GiveDirectly i bought food in the form of maize. This is because it is the basic need that was urgent at that time. Secondly, i purchased some bags of cement, iron sheets and paint. I want to renovate my house when i get my last transfer next month. I also bought beddings and other household items.
