What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have lived in this village for over two decades and life has not been easy. I have to sleep with my five children in the same room, have sleepless nights inother to work longer time on my farm to send my children to school. Receiving this money will enable me to build house where my children will have their own room and I have mine. I will be able to make farm and pay my school fees. I believe that when my children are educated they will be of help to me in the near future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Over the last six months there has been one problem to another such as; lack of financial support, lack of food, children being thrown out of school, husband being involved in a tragic motor accident and the list goes on but despite all of these hardships, my source of joy has been seeing my husband recovering and being alive. I know that once their life there is a hope for a better days.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Living in a polygamous household is not a easy things! My husband have to take care of me and my mate along with our children. Two years ago he was involved in a tragic motor accident that left him almost disabled and this has make things really difficult for me. As I speak to you, some of my children are being thrown out of school base on my failure to pay their tuition fees and buy shoe for them. As a female my only source of income is farming but due to lack of money I'm unable to pay people to bush my farm, as a result I will make small farm that will not take care of my needs and this will case serious embarrassment for in the raining season.
