Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save money and pay school fees for my children so that they will be able to pursue their dream without any interference.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Previously, my children used to be sent home for school fees frequently. This really affected their performances but I had no option because my casual job was not generating adequate income. Upon receiving this transfer the biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to settle the school fees arrears and now my children are confidently going to school with no worries of being sent home for school fees and their performance has improved so well.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am hoping to be at peace and that my children will bein school. I also hope to have fully recovered since besides paying school fees I also spent some part of the money to pay a hospital bill. I was unwell and I needed medical attention so I set some amount for a regular check-up of my leg.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that, I have been able to achieve some of the goals that I never thought I could reach. I am a proud owner of a dairy cow that gave both to calves. This is definitely a big investment for me. I also managed to cement my house and I enjoy the luxury of staying in a decent place.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start another business which will be probably operating a kiosk in the homestead. I will be operating it in the morning and sell my vegetables in the market by evening. I want to maximize the profits that I get and this is why I have thought of this great idea.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having an easy time after cementing my house. We had been pooling efforts with my husband who is also a beneficiary and finally achieved this goal. The decision of cementing our house came about because of the discomfort that we were facing such as being exposed to dust when sweeping. Smearing it was also hectic and time-consuming because we had to do it every month. This simply means that I had to sacrifice time for my daily activities which normally involved household chores and business to smear my house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to have started operating a kiosk. Currently, I do not have much to do during morning hours. I thought of this great idea to maximize the morning hours and use the evening ones to sell vegetables in the market because I still do not want to leave this business which has been sustaining my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been if I hadn't received my transfers in that, I was only depending on casual labor and subsequent farming as my major source of income. There are planting seasons that the farm never yielded produce and casual labor was scarce, this meant total struggle in my household. But thanks to GD, I now have livestock and a grocery outlet that is acting as an alternative income.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to open a restaurant where I can serve the community with fast food and also sell groceries from the same point.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I was able to invest in a goat that has since then given birth to three kids. This assures me of their growth in number which later can be a source of wealth to my household. Besides that, I have been able to commence the expansion of my household to enhance an increase in space. I had a tiny house that was not comfortable for my now bigger household members.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I hopefully have constructed my restaurant next to my home where I will be selling food and groceries. This will be an added source of income to my farming.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because apart from the exponential increase in the number of my goats, I have bought a new table which is good and more presentable. Before, we were using a smaller and weak wooden table. I always felt ashamed even to serve my visitors in such a table. I thank God I currently have a nice table which I had longed to have in life for quite a long time.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal in the next four months is to save my transfers and use it to buy six bags of cement which I will use to repair the floor of my house. The floor of my house had been cemented some time back but it has worn out and has some patches that are not pleasant to the eyes. When it is fully repaired, my house will look newer and nicer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months preceding the current transfer, the biggest difference in my life is owning a goat which within a span of less than a year, has borne four kids. I had bought it when it was pregnant and within four weeks, it bore twin-kids. It also recently bore another set of twin-kids. Currently, the number of goats is higher than I had expected and this makes me be more hopeful in life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to change positively since I will always have a reliable source of income. I am planning to start up and run a small shop. From the shop, I will be able to raise some money daily to support my family. As a result, I shall be having some cash flow in my hands almost all the times.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
No. I only have the goals I had before I started recieving the money which include repairing my house which is in bad condition currently.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I not received the money by now I wouldn't be done planting by now because I would have done it on my own which was so hectic and even before I could complete, the whole farm would be full of weeds. This is the difference in my current life that wouldn't have been if I didn't receive the money.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have plastered my house in the next six months. It's in a bad condition which does not give me peace at all.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I managed to employ people to help me work in my farm. This enabled to complete planting on time and I have already started weeding. This has given a lot hope of getting good harvest this season.
