How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goals for now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has been so good to me, is through these transfers I was able to sent my children to school, bought cattles, renovate the house and paid my mother hospital bill, I won't have achieved these things without the help of givedirectly. Honestly givedirectly has not done any wrong in my community.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The transfers was used to pay my mother's hospital bill, bought two goats and bought six bags of cement for renovating the house.

In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion GiveDirectly is doing well by helping to improve your lives through their directly cash transfer process. GiveDirectly isn't doing anything wrong to us.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to improve my farm. I have started buying seeds and hiring people to brush my farm. I also want to improve on my house to change it to a modern house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GIVEDIRECTLY cash program is really a great help to me and my family. They have done this very well to an extend that they are admire by many people far and near. I can't think of anything Givedirectly is not doing well. Maybe someday in the future, but for now Givedirectly is doing great.

I used my most recent transfer to paid my son fees, and I also bought six bags of cements to improve my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was travelling from my farm heading to the town with my wife and children when the mobile money alert hit my phone. I immediately inform my wife and she was happy as well. We immediately started planning what to spent our money on. We then decided to purchase cement and pay our children's school fees when we withdraw the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The difference is, I am currently living in a house with a concrete floor and well plastered. My children are regular in school, the school no longer send them home for fees. I feel like a true father now to my children and a real husband to my wife.

I bought cement to plaster my old house and I also pay part payment of my of my children's school fees. I also kept some money to pay masoner to lay my house play.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am the town chief of this town;this is my birth home town but the condition allow me to send my children to live with other relatives just to get good education. My dream is to become one or second biggest cocoa producer. I want to do this because,I want to build a very big and good house to represent me as a town chief. Most of the time the cases I hold is at my house but the house is so small and it cause so much embarrassment to me. The house can't host up to ten person.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the happiest news ever is today news that I am receiving from you now. This is my hope and prayer that this be real in my life. For this news no one will hear it and be sad.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I am greatly faced with financial crisis. I started doing something small but it just not working out well for me. I need money to become a big cocoa producer. This money will enable me hired plenty of workers and my farm will get very big. This money will also change the look and size of my house, with this I will be a proud town chief. Money is the problem to my dreams.
