What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I extended my main house from 21-35 iron sheets. The former house was too tiny to offer us adequate space we needed to live more comfortably. Most of the time, we could knock our knees on the walls since the rooms were very small to accommodate us well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it gives a significant amount of money that enable people make steps in life, however, it would consider helping everyone in the village since some are poor too.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I live in a more secure environment. The first transfer enabled me to fit my main house with a burglar proof door that has deterred thieves from breaking into my house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have a child in form 1 but paying her school fees had been a problem therefore when I received my first transfer, I decided to clear for her the whole year fees with 10000 KES. Again, they never had a good place to sleep. The house they used to sleep in was a grass-thatched and it was really leaky and therefore I used the rest of the money to construct for them a better house where they currently sleep more comfortably.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from Give Directly, I felt very happy and thankful to God. This is because it was a blessing from him-its by his grace that we qualified to get it.
