What does receiving this money mean to you?
What I plan to do with the cash transfer is to start a business which I have always dreamed of and used the profit on my granddaughter education. The only means of survival for me and my granddaughter is the little farming I do and through that I'm able to put bread on our table and pay her school fees. I lost my son who was helping me with almost everything leaving me with his daughter. I now have to get myself involved into farming as a means of survival.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me happiness or joy is whenever I see my granddaughter so eager to go to school after I have struggled to have her register and pay her school fees. Because I know the struggle I go through to find money to get her in school and Cater for her school needs. It makes me feel that my efforts in find money for her education is being taken very seriously by her.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge I am facing now in my life is to get money to start up a business to enable me cater for my granddaughter education and to put food on our table. I am really struggling to raise my granddaughter. Sometime I gets tired to beg people to help me with money to get her in school. And because of that, sometime she would miss school.
