Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very fine when I received this money. Because I never had any money at all and I feel that God did this through GiveDirectly to help me with this money. I had lots of financial problems but I never had the hope of getting money to solve them. My major problems were: to build a house for myself and to pay my children school fees. Now that I have received this money I will use it for the intended purpose. Many thanks to GiveDirectly for giving my family and I hope.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have started experiencing some good moments in my life now as compared to before. My financial burdens have reduced. Because my children school fees have been paid, we have food and I have also started buying building materials for my house projects that I'm expecting to start soon.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have five kids, I sent two in Monrovia to live with my brother to go to school and three of them are here with me going to school. I used part of the money to pay for both the ones in Monrovia and here school fees and I bought one bundle of zinc and nails to start my house projects. I also bought food for my family and I.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will first start my business and when the business prospers, I will recondition my house and also be paying my kids school fees at the same time .
What is the happiest part of your day?
My children have been healthy for the past time. A single mother struggling to care for children is not easy. I am thankful for good health. Their health is one thing that I am always being thankful to God for.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My kids schooling remains my serious worry right now. Since my children's father turned his back on me and the children and reunion with another woman, I have been the only one caring for the children.
