Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to start a business of buying tea leaves from farmers and selling it to the tea factory to get some profits to pay the school fees for my children on time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Describe the biggest differences in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I was able to pay school fees for my children in secondary school. I do casual jobs or tea plucking at the neighbor's farm and the small amount of money that I get is not enough to meet all the basic needs and at the same time pay school fees for my children in school. I could struggle so much to ensure that my children were at school. They could be sent home sometime to collect the school fees and because there was no ready cash they could stay home long. Their performance was poor because they could waste much time in school. when I received the money from GiveDirectly I felt so happy and the first thing that I did was to pay the school fees for my children. Currently, their performance has improved compared to previous terms. I am so happy because I no longer struggle so much on casual jobs but rather work on my own farm.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have saved enough to enable me to do horticulture farming including planting maize.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I dropped out of secondary school in 2001 due to lack of school fees.Life became difficult and I decided to get married during the same year.I am quite sure that if I had continued with my studies I could be somewhere better ;maybe living in a better house or even having bought a piece of land.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning. This is because the day is still fresh and you get to plan for the day's activities.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on paying school fees for my two children in secondary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is livestock rearing. The milk I sell helps me feed my family and even get money for school fees.I also sell calves so that I can pay school fees for my children. This has been the trend since 2009 when I discovered how livestock rearing can be useful.
