How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't having new goals before receiving this transfer, I was able to pay contractor's to saw plank and cut my stake for the improvement of my old house .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Giving unconditional cash transfer to improve my house and pay my children school fees is more than good to me, with this i don't know anything that GD did that is not well all is okay.

I was able to Purchase six gallons of gas for the sawing of woods and others house materials for the roofing of my house .

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My husband along with my 5 kids have been living in a thatched house. But it's leaking now because of the raining season. Also we couldn't afford to pay for zinc. With this kind of situation, I have decided to build a new house with zinc from the cash I received from Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has made my family and I are about to live in a zinc house. I am so excited about this great opportunity provided us by Give Directly.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been living in a mat house for over 7 years in a very deplorable condition,but after receiving my second transfer, I decided building a new Zinc house.

In my opinion Givedirectly is really helpful and has done nothing bad

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I heard one of my neighbour that they have received their money. I rush quickly along with my husband to the network area and switch our phone on and got our alight a few minutes late.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
One of the changes that I have in my life now is that I didn't have mattress but now I bought a new mattress.

I bought my Mattress, I pay some of my children school fees and also bought one boundle of zinc.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have my children in school , but due to lack of finance, my children have been sent home from school, I have to lay basket and sell crawfish before paying their school fees, Things are tough and they are not going to school. I will use part of the money to pay my children school fees, build a house for my children and I and then use part of the money for business purpose . This will allow me save more for future expenses.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Waking up every morning and seeing my children makes me happy. Providing food for my children also gives me joy. Being part of the GiveDirectly programe today makes very happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have lot of expenses but due to lack of money, I can not provid the help for my children. My major challenge is lack of finance. We are two woman on my husband and he is not working, there is no much help coming from him towards my children and I. therefore, I can not provide daily meal for my children and I , many days we go to bed on empty stomach.
