What does receiving this money mean to you?
I planned to build myself a house with my transfer here in this town. I house we are currently living in belong to my spouse Elder brother. Building my own dwelling place will be a great help to me and my family. I want to build house with everything in it including bathroom. If I received my transfer, I will construct on of the modern small house in the town. If I built my house and have place for my family to stay, I will start my provisions business. Food business is a problem here, people leave this village and traveled for 30 minutes to buy their provisions which I think is suffering and I must try to stop it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was happy, it was in September of this year when we sell our coal and generated some cash. We bought bought food and others provisions for the household and that brought joy to me. Today again I am happy for GiveDirectly to return to enroll we who were not able to be enrolled during your first visit. People said that we were not lucky and that you people were not going to return, so GiveDirectly is an NGO that lives up to her promised, I pray that donors continue to fund GiveDirectly in order to reach the other communities that are not part of this project because I know how difficult it is here nowadays.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenge now is finance to buy materials for my house construction. Could you imagine, I have 5 children here now 2 of them are Twin and they just turned 1 year 3 months old and have not walk. Taking care of them and at the same time working on the farm is challenging. If the finance is available, I will hire people to do the labor work on the farm while I take care of the kids.
