Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Since I am a farmer and this exercise flows in my blood, I have dedicated all my energies to doing subsistence farming. I have planted vegetables which I am very sure that in three months' time, they will be ready for harvesting. It is from the proceeds that I intend to buy a calf that will benefit my family in a number of ways. One of which is provision of milk. This will really save me a lot of money resources and therefore channel it to other activities.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily for the last four months is that I no longer spend many hours on people's farms doing casual labor. Life has been tough on our side since we have a family which needed to feed but unfortunately, we did not have otherwise. When the transfers came, it gave us a leaning shoulder and we were able to acquire land of our own where we have planted crops and they are really doing well. Nowadays, I spend most of the time on the farm, weeding and cultivating them since I know that this will be of help to my family, food-wise.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I still have to offer casual labour, though on reduced occasions. This is because I now have my pieace of land to cultivate and therefore dedicate some time to it. In the next six month's I expect to be fully working on my land. I also intend to expand on it since farming is the only way of livelihoods in our regions.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am an employed woman who majorly depends on farming to meet household daily needs but due to lack of ownership of the small size of my piece of land given to us by our father, casual jobs had been my alternative source. I had worked tirelessly in my neighbours' tea farm to be able to provide for my family and since my wages had been too low, I had been so stressed not knowing when could it be enough for my young family. Spending my energy in other peoples land was a big problem that always lowered my self-esteem but to put a meal on my family table I had no other option but to go for. My life is currently different from how it was four months in that I have been empowered to do my own and this my happiness now that I spend my energy to build my household. I have been able to hire a piece of land from a neighbour where I freely practise short season crop farming which has improve the availability of food in the household and also more income through the sales of the surplus.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am currently doing better in farming hence have enough food for my household and surpluses to sell. In the next four month, Ithe new goal I have for my life is to start a saving plan that will help me accumulate money that in the near future I can add to what I get from farming then use it to buy a cow that will support in milk production for household use and sale hence improve my sources of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Agriculture particularly crop farming is my back borne source of income in my family. I live in a small piece of land that is under the ownership of my father hence I lack the free practice of farming. I have grown tea bushes in most part of my land and since it is not mature enough to earn me an income, daily household needs and other financial needs in my family has been challenging. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the efforts that monthly transfer has given me in farming since currently, I have been able to lease pieces of land from my neighbors where I practice different short season crop farming using modernized mechanism by employing machines, hybrid seed and artificial fertilizer among other farm inputs that have boosted my production. I have had enough food for my family in the last four months hence little to spent on food and surplus product to sell to meet other family needs unlike before when I had to strive too much on casual jobs that could not even support my daily household needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to have greatly improved in that I will not be spending as much as I do currently since my farming will have improved hence will have better products. I expect to have enough food and surpluses to see to meet other financial needs in my family. I expect to have gotten enough money to buy a cow that will always be my proud to own it.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer frequently sought casual jobs to get money to meet my family needs. I have always been worried about providing for my family since if I could struggle to pay school fee for my children. the time that I would rather spend working on other peoples farm I can now spend on my own farm. Currently, I have some maize which I expect that in the near future I would not be buying food like maize.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I spent some money to buy maize seedlings which I planted and my crops are now doing so well. I expect that in the six months, I will be having maize for consumption and that I wouldn't be spending more money on buying food. I believe that the money which I will be getting from other sources I will be spending on buying other foodstuff which is not being produced directly from my farm.
