How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy, since am able to afford better food and resolved my money problems.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to uplift our livelihoods and people have acquired land, houses, paid debts, bought household items and food; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay debts, bought a goat, maize, paid school fees, bought household items and food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I used not to have appetite due to so many debts, grandson in jail but now I can eat properly.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy and said God you are great for relieving me from many problems.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 1000000 ugx to bail out my grandson, 600000 to get back my land that I had given someone as security to pay school fees, 40000 I bought a mattress and 60000 I used to buy food in the household.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am faced with is lack of food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when all members of the family are at home especially after the morning duties.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house, buy a cow that I can have milk.
