How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan is to rebuild my house that is breaking down as a cripple woman who does not have the feet to walk.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am so thankful to God for his grace and Givedirect for remembering people like me who are disability to be part of their program . I don't have any family members or anyone to help me in this condition. But Givedirect came in our town and today I am able to gathered money that will rebuild my house through their assistance

My name is Matorma Kamara from Folley Town Dowein District Bomi County Liberia. My brother as can I can see I can't walk, I am disabled, I did not born any child, my family member dispatched me because of my condition I sat here everyday to beg for money to eat, only my play daughter Yeyea Jallah does everything for me. But now Give Directly had taken me from ground to mattress and my play daughter is about to built me a house through GIVE Directly.

My son I don't know what to say to Give Directly, as old and disable I am, defecate on myself when my play daughter is not around, Give Directly people enrolled me and send me money I so happy

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I am Matorma Kamara from folley town, Bomi County Liberia. I was very much comfortable when I receive the transfer money from Givedrectly because, I am old, and don't have child to help me. I been suffering in this village with my health condition and food to eat. People in this village feel sorry and give me food. I am so happy and want to extend thanks and appreciation for helping me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am happy now that I have started building my own house and have food to eat on a daily basis. I was bagging for food in this village before Givedrectly came to help me. I now have my own food and started building my own house.When I receive my remaining money from Givedrectly, I will buy Cement to plaster my house doors, Windows and everything I need to complete my house just to have my own place to stay. I am very happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I don't have my own house. I am living in my sister's house. She is presently not well and gone for treatment and will be back anytime. I bought two bundles of zinc, seven packs of nails, half bag of rice and kept the balance money for soup kind.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The recipient said she will make business before her house, she also said she is stopping in a house that doesn't belong to her, therefore she will used some of the money to build her a small house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
According to the recipient Matorma Kamara, she has not experienced any event that have made her happy. She said she has been paralysed for the past four years.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The recipient said she is facing lot of challenges such as feeding, washing, health. The recipient is paralysed. She said sometimes she can't have food to eat at all.
