What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase a wall unit that costed me 19,000 KES then I bought a cow at 17,000, bought two goats at 7500 KES and the remaining amount I spent to plaster my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The greatest thing that I think GD is doing so well is improving the living standards of people. The transfers have enabled people to build new houses and bought livestock. As per today there is nothing that GD is doing badly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different given that I bought goats I see them multiplying and this will help me pay my children fees once I have sold them. This will make our life much easier as compared to before we started received the transfers.
