What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying building materials since I am planning to renovate my house by cementing it and placing a fascia board too.I also paid school fees for my child who is in high school. I have saved some amount of money 10000 KES.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am happly seeing my child through her education with ease and now she has not been sent home for school fees due to school fees arrears. I am thankful to GiveDirectly for giving me an opportunity of educating my child.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying fees for my child who is in high school, bought a bag of maize to sustain the family members and used most of the amount on purchasing hybrid seeds so as to get more yields.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I was very excited. I bearly had no food hence had lost hope but upon receiving the transfer, my hopes were high and knew that I would be able to purchase food for the family consumption.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we are facing currently is how to get money to pay our kids fees and again my spouse is physically challenged and can't do hard jobs to get enough money for all these.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of of the day is in the evening when we sit together after meal and tell stories how the day was.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means that we are going clear fee arrears and repair our house., I'm also planning to build a small kitchen.
