How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that,my children are going to school and doing well because I can now pay schools and feed them which I could not have done if I had not received the money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In opinion Give Directly has done well by giving us money which people are using to build permanent houses and educating children.Give Directly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have used my second transfer to pay schools for my son who is in secondary school at 300,000ugx, bought construction materials for my house at 800,000ugx and stocked maize 2 bags at 140,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now a stress free person and happy through out.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer, I jubilated with thankgiving to God.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
WhenI received my first transfer, I completed payment of my farm land in order to cultivate crops. I paid school fees for my two children since education is important. I have also paid for labour towards digging a pit latrine in order to improve on family hygiene. I spent part of the transfer for purchaisng a cow which will act as an income generating activity for my household and the balance I bought household items like plates, saucepans and bedsheets in order to improve on my living conditions.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for completing a permanent structure that was started from 2009 todate.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I find peace and relief always in the afternoons after vigorous day of work.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to complete permanent structure at my compound. My family has since failed to complete a structure at my compound due to lack of fund.
