How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not received the money I would still be struggle to eat. and I wouldnt have had any blankets.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Givedirectly honestly knows how to reach out to people on they have a problem, example like the time I had forgotten my pin code I called the hotline and they were able to talk me through it and this meant so much to me because I thought I had lost the money as well. On the things they dont do well I really cant speak on it because I feel like they do everything well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfers on fertilizer, and traditional initiation for my daughter and the rest I want to use it to build a house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am happy to be part of this program because my husband left me and went to South Africa. I am now alone with five children and alot of responsibility to bear because of this money I will be able to ease my problems and I will be able to take care of my children and buy them food and fix the roof of my home. The thatched straws on my roof are getting damaged and I experience leakages during the rainy season because of this money I will be able to buy iron sheets and fix my home
