As started during my second interview, my goal is to build a house. For many years now the roof of my current house no longer holds the rain waters especially during the rainy seasons. After I received the money from GiveDirectly, I use 75% of it to build my new house and portion was used to pay the children's school fees. I am so happy that what I had desired long time ago to have a new house has come true by the help of GiveDirectly.

By giving me the cash and allowing me to decide what to do with it is one of the things that the organization has done well. In addition, not only transferring the cash but coming to make sure that the cash transferred has been received by the rightful person. I have seen on the part of the organization absolutely nothing bad.

Through the last transfer, I was able to buy, nails, cement, and few pieces of planks to complete the construction of my new house. For many years now I have been living in this old house with my family. Top of my goals has been to educate my children. Through the first transfer I was able to pay my children's full tuitions this academy year. I believe that when my children are educated they will live a better life in the future. As for the second transfer I was able to buy three bundles of zinc for the construction of my new house. As seeing this house is in a very bad condition now. The roof can not hold the rain waters anymore like before during the rainy seasons.
