How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The first and second transfer was spent on four bundles of Zinc and 70 packs of nails for my construction. I have developed a new goal.My new goal is, the third and last transfer, i brought one big matress and established a new business which will help sustain the family when Givedirectly shall have left my community. Thanks to Givedirectly for making me to own a decent sleeping place.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I appreciate Givedirectly for giving me money. All of the process went well and I am happy and grateful for the grant from Givedirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer was spent on one big matress and I was able to established a new business to sustain my family because my life was very stressful until Givedirectly came and help me with cash to improved my life. Thanks that I am now stress free and can now afford my daily meals regularly.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan is to build my own house in my village, when I received my transfer I was very much happy, I was happy because the support that givedirectly has given me, I haven't received such support from anyone before in my life. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come to passed. My new goal is to extend my building project with additional rooms. Because the house I wanted to build is just 2 bedroom apartment, but with this second money I received, I decided now to add another 2 room to it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I'm so happy that I was enrolled on this program, in my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of our village, givedirectly give me phone, givedirectly give me money that I was able to paid my children school fees. With the support from givedirectly there are so many new building in our village. There's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my transfer, first thing I did was to paid my children school fees, secondly I bought 3bundle of iron zinc to build my house , I bought enough food for my family, the rest of the money I was able to paid workmanship to start my building project.

It has been my plan long ago to build my own house but making gari and farming has been my source of livelihood and could not generate much money to have a development.With the transfer now, My new goal is to build my own house.I have bought two (2 ) bundles of Zinc, nails and bags of cement and have started the construction.My life is getting better than before.

I appreciate the gift from Givedirectly because since I moved to my husband, We been struggling living in a very small room in his big brother house with our children.I am very proud and excited to have this money which have brought smile in my household. every step that was done by the Givedirectly family was fair.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was preparing my family dinner when I heard a message on my phone.I stopped to check it and it was the cash transfer from Givedirectly. I was so happy and informed the rest of my family members about the good news.I immediately went to the nearby city and withdraw my money.After I withdrew the transfer, We celebrated the improvement in our household.Because our hardship have been a big challenge in our community. But now, our life is getting better with the cash from GiveDiretly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
With the transfer, I have been able to buy some building materials with all of my first transfer because since I started living with my husband, we haven't been able to generate more money from gari to build a house.I can attest that our condition have started improving and there is a lot of happiness in my household.

I was able to buy some building materials with all of my first transfer. Preparing gari and selling it has been the only source of livelihood for my family. Because of the little money I generated from the gari, I have not been able to do any development for my family. With the gift from Givedirectly, I can now afford and I'm now stress free. my plan of getting my own house is now going to be accomplished soon.

The harvesting of our farm products made us happy. We will take some of the products to the market for sale
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our main challenge is the lack of money for our four years old son Alfred Wrobone who is surferung from hydroseed. This condition has been existing since his birth.
