How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
For now my goals are pretty much the same as before. I wanted to build a better house and the transfers aided in me getting close to my dream.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I honestly do see anything that is wrong with the way GiveDirectly is operating at the moment. I am impressed
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought so many things with my transfer. I bought 2 bags of fertilizer because I would like to not be secured for this year's farming season. I also had a passport made for my son who has traveled to South Africa for work and God-willing I shall continue to receive assistance through him. My house also needed some maintenance works and I have bought window frames, doors and glasses for the Windows. I built this house over 4 years ago and have only managed to finish things like glasses and window frames through GiveDirectly

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I so grateful for being considered in this program. This is a blessing to my family. I will use the money wisely by buying bags of cement so that I can plaster my house and have a concrete floor. I also plan to buy window glasses, furniture, beddings and matresses.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when I am eating with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge is money access. We don't have a reliable source of income.
