Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I am currently in the process of acquiring construction materials that I will use to construct an iron roofed house. In addition, I am planning to acquire a bed and a new mattress. Previously, I couldn't afford construction materials and labour.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment my grand son informed me that I had received money from GiveDirectly, I was overwhelmed my joy because I had got the money I would use to construct an iron roofed house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my transfer to purchase 2 trips of bricks and foodstuffs. I have not yet spent a large sum of my money but I intend to spend it for buying iron sheets, 2 trips of sand, a bed, mattress and clothes.

Receiving this money means that I will be able to build iron-roofed house. I currently sleep in a leaking house because thatching grass is scarce and expensive to get. I will enjoy speciaze and comfotable sleep onces the house is complete.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam engaged looking for what to survive on from morning, so after lunch I relax while chatting with my grand children in the afternoon. This helps me in forgetting some difficult moments in life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. Iam of advanced age and lack energy to engage in to productive work and no one is of any assistance in my life. My life lacks basic needs like bedding ,clothing and proper feeding because of no income generatiing activity.
