How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because I am now able to feed well. Having money is a source of my happiness.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to give me money and to sensitize my community to be aware of defrauders the reason as to why many of us have not been victims of fraud. There is nothing that Give Directly is not doing well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have only spent UGX 23,000 of my second transfer for food and transport. I have saved UGX 1,610,000 which I intend to use for paying school fees.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I feel relieved from the burden of paying tuition.

The moment I received my cash transfer, I felt happy and relieved from family burden.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my cash transfer worth 1,700,000ugx, I spent 100,000ugx for feeding, buying clothes and transport. The balance of 1,600,000ugx that I intend to use for paying tuition and renovating my house.
