What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband burned coal to provide for the family and send our children to school. The money we earned from the coal cannot maintain our family. Some of my children are not in school because of money and I'm not doing any business to help with some responsibility of the family. If I receive this money, I will start a business that will enable me cater to some responsibility of the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have been down hearted for the loss of my mother because, its brought so much setback to me. My mother was the main source of income for my family but since her death, things began difficult for my Family and it makes me sad at times but I am overjoyed today because, since I been in this town, I haven't seeing any NGO to give us great help like Givedirectly and I am so happy to be part of Givedirectly program.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
When my mother was alive, she was a great help to my family. But when she died, things became very difficult for my family. At times when we burned the coal and give it out to people, it takes time before we can get the money. Some day to provide food for my children is not easy. I want to start my own business that will enable me cater to some responsibility of family but I don't have money. Getting money to start business is my major concern.
