What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It is hard to find basic needs for me and my children. They all depend on me because I don't have a husband. It is not easy to find enough money and food to take care of all of them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months there is nothing that has brought joy in my life. If I were to find enough food and a durable house for me and my children I would be happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am happy to be enrolled in the project. If I will receive this money, I will use it to build a new house. The house I live in is in bad condition. It leaks during the rainy season because it's thatched with grass. I also have to change the grass annually. On top of that it is made of unbaked bricks. I am also planning on buying food. I depend on casual labour to make money which I use to buy food because I don't harvest enough maize to last all year round. Most of the times we don't eat enough food because I don't find piece works every day.
