How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, my new goal is to change the roof of my house. This house has been leaking for the past two years but couldn't afford to change it at the time. So, when I received my transfer, I decided to buy zinc to improve my roof.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal and main focus now is to build a house. I've been living in a bad and insecure structure almost all my life. That is about to change and it starts now with this transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly gives us free money at no cost, treats us like royalty, talks to us in a pleasant manner and most of all gives us the helping hand and empowerment we never had before. That's so much well done. There's nothing I know they do not do well.

I have sent funds to my daughter to ensure she stays in school as well as bought some zinc for my house. What I have left from my most recent transfer is intended to be used in getting other materials the builders may request for in the mean time.
