How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving this transfer, I have always lived in this old house but now I'm going to improve it and make it more comfortable for me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has changed our lives for the better so would say they do well by improving and empowering people like me. What they don't do well? I don't know of anything they don't do well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought some building materials including zinc, cement and panel doors for my house. All of these were either not there or largely damaged but all that is about to change.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very much overwhelmed when I received my transfer. I built my house since a year ago. I never had money to put floor and plaster the house. Now I feel relief because Givedirectly has empowered me financially.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was able to take good treatment at the hospital. I also used portion of my transfer to buy cement and put floor in my house. I couldn't afford to do these things before the transfer. Now that I have received my transfer, I am able to send myself to hospital and put floor in my house.I will use my next transfer to plaster the whole house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent some of my transfer to purchase four bags of cement. Portion of my transfer was used to treat myself at the hospital.
