How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because, l no longer stay in a rental house, l now very comfortable because l am staying in my own spacious house as compared to before. l am also not worried when it is a preaching month end because l know l do not have a rent to pay.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save the money that l was paying rent before to pay school fee for my children and also to start for my spouse a business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, l am now staying in my own house where l do not pay rent, as compared to before when l had to use a lot of money paying rent. I am now able to save some money to pay for my children school fee being thst paying fee for my children has been a big stress.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months l expect to have started for my spouse a business where she can get some money to support us.

I do not have any new goal.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have household items which I had lacked in my house, I bought iron sheets which I will use to build a better house than the one I have now and We have never gone without food.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I would want to start up a business to boost my income.

I was so much stressed because I did not have household items in my house and I was getting married. I did not have money to buy them until Give Directly came, I was able to buy them in time before I got married. Give Directly covered my shame.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I've faced in life is stress and starvation we got into when my father died. I at a point had to stop schooling for lack of school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning. At this time I thank God for life and health, I also smile to see my family awake and alive.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on building a house, currently my wife and I are forced to sleep at a relative's place.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is saving enough from casual work to buy a machete and a jembe when still school going. My family praised me and hence stopped borrowing these farm tools.
