How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has Changed a lot because my business was small and now its better as I have added capital using givedirectly's cash. I Had no house but now I have 1. I have gone to South Africa twice to search for opportunities but it didn't benefit my household as I have with givedirectly's cash
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly does well by Visiting us at our homes, it does well by not giving the cash to the chiefs to give us. Reaching us directly helps us to receive full amount without anyone taking our share
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought cement and timbers for roofing

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me build a better house as I do not have a proper house as the one I have is small, old and dilapidated. I also wanna expand my small grocery to something bigger so that i serve my village with groceries for their homes
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I am chatting with my family sharing stories especially in the evening
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have serious problems in finding food for my family as I do not have a stable source of income. And again my husband left for South Africa and for him to provide for us back home was a serious challenge since he did not have a job there
